Personally, I think it’s a bit odd that the software you’re paying for can refuse to apply some of its features because it doesn’t like the content of your photo. I have no problem working with people in a frame, but i guess tjhat the AI detect the lot of bare skin in the images and assumes the worst. As AI is not truly intelligence but just programmed and trained once, probably above a certain% of bare skin trigger the issue.I experience this mostly when trying to remove distracting elements near the lower parts of people. If I’ve 40 different shots to process and each of them have someone wearing hosiery with ladders (snag lines) throughout the hosiery which happens from wearing dresses with rough tulle, etc..

Getting Started With Adobe Firefly

If you pay for it every single year (and don’t own anything) are you paying the same? You see ‘tons of new features’ because you’re a PR person and that’s the PR. The reality is that in the last 10 years Adobe has added perhaps 4 worthwhile features to Ai; the blob brush, width tool, artboards and the shape builder. The software is still buggy as hell, crashes all the time and is single core, so only uses 10% of my Mac’s power and even simple actions can take an age.

Still, if there’s a better LR replacement out there, someone let me know. LR really blows hot and cold, it feels like they go through cycles of feature adding, which slows the software down, then optimising, which speeds it up. I still think it’s been one of the better priced software out there.
